Time

Time

Time and eternity are both in your mind,

And will conflict until you perceive time

Solely as a means to regain eternity.

Now is the closest approximation of eternity

That this world offers.

It is the reality of “now”,

Without past or future,

That the beginning of the appreciation

Of eternity lies.

For only “now” is here.

Look lovingly upon the present,

For it holds the only things that are forever true.

All healing lies within it.

When you have learned to look on everyone

With no reference to all to the past,

Either his or yours as you perceive it,

You will be able to learn from what you see now.

To be born again is to let the past go,

And look without condemnation upon the present.

The present is before time was,

And will be when time is no more.

In it are all things that are eternal,

And they are one.

Fear is not of the present,

But only of the past and future,

Which do not exist.

Why wait for heaven?

It is here today.

Time is the great illusion it is past

Or in the future.

Here in the present is the world set free.

For as you let the past be lifted

And release the future from your ancient fears,

You find escape and give it to the world.

What time but now can truth be recognized?

The present is the only time there is.

The past is gone;

The future but imagined.

These concerns are but defenses

Against present change.

Unless the past is over in my mind,

The real world must escape my sight.

For I am really looking nowhere;

Seeing but what is not here

A Course in Miracles

What a convoluted concept. A short poetry, but laden with deep philosophy.

Hi my friend, how are you? Hope things are fine up there.

I had a glance at your topics and understand your frustration with the new Blogster. You are right. After a long absence, when I logged in, I really got disappointed and frustrated. The new Blogster is so confusing.

Please take care and I wish you the best,

Profound ... Keep up the good work, Strider ...

Maybe Blogster misManagement should practice being more Zen-like in their approach to making our Blog experience more Nirvana-esque ... now THAT would be a whole 'nother Course in Miracles ...

Blogster Management is a microcosm of our American society as it has evolved into the 21st Century reality matrix ... lots of bells and fancy whistles, but, no soul ... but, then chaos has always been a wild and exhilerating ride ... we DO needs to keep our souls in the game, though ...

I'm just glad I'm 14 hours away from Central Time Zone, 'cause methinks the Matrix is gonna be a rockin' and a rollin' once we get closer to November 2nd, 2008.

I'll be somewhere off-grid and remote after I cast my absentee PAPER ballot, seein's how I ain't planning to touch American soil until after the elections are a done deal ... it's the least I can do to show some civil disobedient DISrespect to the war-pandering fascist ba$tards who have placed our nation onto the tracks of an economic freight train ... I'm glad my family has a ranch in the Texas Hill Country, because if things get all wierdified on the part of Uncle Stupid, I'll just stay out there away from the city energy and the zone of mindless lemming-heads ...

... and for the benefit of the Joe RepugnantCONS and Full-OH-Bull-thinkers out there ...

Yes, I really AM the dude who wrote that article for Virtual Citizens on September 27th, 2006 which exposed the conspiracy on the part of Republican Party "leadership" to rig the 2004 Presidential Election ... and, for those right-wing blogsters who actually have begun to figure out that Bush is a lot like Hitler, only, thankfully, more stupid, expand your intellectual horizons and read the following:

    www.virtualcitizens.com

My article is entitled "Protect Your Voting Rights" .

It is archived under the category that includes elections.

It was published on September 27th, 2006.

After I published it, I phoned a dozen different leadership offices in the House and Senate and told them about my graduate research on the subject of election fraud, and the evidence about the systematic rigging of the 2004 Election.

For my writing, I earned not a single penny.

I DID earn the wrath of the Bush malAdministration and his spooky people DID contact me and deliver a not-so-thinly-veiled death threat to me on June 13th, 2007.

I am independently wealthy, so you can think of me as the Batman of Politics ... when the bad guys fu(k with you, I'll show up, from out of the shadows ... with a pen ...

And, the pen is Truly Mightier than an Unrighteous Sword ...

Like John Locke, who penned the Two Treatises on Civil Government which formed the intellectual back-bone of the US Constitution, and went into exile because the evil King wanted to kill him, I am also in exile, but I am alive and well because ....

.... FREEDOM IS IN MY BLOOD ....
