I think from what Johnathan said to you in a comment the other day that won't be possible. There are things that I like about the new system and several things that I miss from the old system. I think we are going to have to just ride this out.

Unfortunatly, while that may be true many features that kept people here no longer work. For example some of us are tech savy and the old blogster had both and advanced area and a dumbed down area for writing posts for those who were begineers and advanced now we are all treated as if we need to be dumberd down.

They have also gotten rid of features that increase their own traffic which is foolish.

The most important thing when you run a site like this is to please the people using it because they are the beating hear of the body and most are unhappy.

We the bloggers are thirl livelyhood. We produce all of their content.

Well there hasn't been anything done from 21 year old Johnathan since last week Wednesday and there are an amazing number of bugs and issues. Maybe he's a bit over his head with this because you can't improve anything when you haven't been here in 5 days or even provided an update. No repairs, responses and updates...figure that. Now I'm not attacking him because he has replied to me twice with my complaints and seems like a real nice person, but this site went through 3 months of testing in a beta mode and arrived here just as bugged and maybe worse. I'm trying to be honest and unfortunately very "raw" with my honesty, but we are Blogster and we have been handed this really screwed up platform and there's a heck of a lot of poor communiction going on? There's so many things wrong here in need of attention, I don't know where to start? And, where are they since Wednesday? Thank you...appreciate your comment from your point of view.

I agree with you .Let us go back to Blogsterville until things are running properly.I hate it here.Laurie P.S.Some people like it so they can BLOCK others from their blogs.

There are things that I miss from the old blogster but, there are things that I like about the new one for sure. Hopefully, they will get things worked out soon.

Edsel---ROTFL! Tin Lizzy would be more like it. What is it with the mania for messing with perfectly good products? The new blogster is to the old what Vista O.S. is to WinXP. Bah hummmmbug!

We are just going to have to give it some time. There are still a lot of bugs to work out. Once they get those cleared up I think things will run smoother.

I share the frustrations of many others. Can't upload a media file correctly. Can't reply to any comments. Can't even get to a help site because it's still under construction (I mean really - why wasn't that up and running before we were moved over?!) I like several things about the new blogster, but overall, those few things don't make up for what is not working.

You make some good points about just a few problems..I'm using Firefox to reply, Internet Explorer won't allow it...and yes, on a new site platform, the first thing you want to make sure is having a help menu...and where's the spell check? Dead links...recent friends shown...the how to input media...pictures...the overlay of some posts onto friends list...the plain pages and all of these boxes...but worse, is the lack of correcting and answering people with questions, problems or even being able to get back on?

i agree 100% im not even bothering writing any blogs until this mess is sorted out, i cant even reply to comments, i have no idea who has visited and so on, what a mess.

I agree with Strider. If they can't go back to the old Blogster then, dammit, make the new one as close to the old one as possible. There are more things I DON'T like about the new site than things I DO like. GRRRRR!!!!

I believe it simply a matter of being a realist...clearly from an objective point of view, this site has big bugs, and if you need help, good luck...go ahead, click on help or ask them and you may get a reply in due time...it's not an atitude, it's the reality of it all...thank you

Thanks for the suggestion about Firefox. I've never used it but this might be the time to give it a try. Heaven knows IE has its own set of problems even without the Blogster mess.

Just do a search for firefox...it only takes a few minutes to download. You can use either browser at that point. I go back and forth now.
